Fakt Mahilao Maate Box Office: Gujarati film continues its box office run; draws in Rs. 2.10 cr in week 3
A few weeks ago, we saw the release of the Gujarati regional film Fakt Mahilao Maate. Featuring Amitabh Bachchan, the lesser-known film which hit screens on Janmashtami has been doing rather well. After drawing in Rs. 1.34 cr on its opening day the business of the film saw immense growth despite some big-ticket Bollywood releases hitting screens.
Fakt Mahilao Maate, which released across just 300 screens with 1300 shows per day, witnessed immense growth in its first week. In fact, the film managed to draw in Rs. 6.75 cr over its opening week. Following this, the business of the film continued to hold strong in its second week as well with Rs. 3.80 cr more coming in. Now after its third week in theatres, Fakt Mahilao Maate has seen a further Rs. 2.10 cr more being added to its total collections.
Collecting a total of Rs. 12.65 cr at the end of its three-week run, Fakt Mahilao Maate has set new box office benchmarks among Gujarati films. Going forward, the film, which has seen its business in Gujarat and Saurashtra recording big numbers, is expected to continue its journey at the box office.
